Tri-State Scale
Modelers is an International Plastic Modeler’s Society (IPMS) chartered club
dedicated to the fun of Scale Modeling.
We strive to provide a friendly place for model builders of all skill
levels. We also provide a safe and
encouraging place for young modelers to begin or improve their skills. Our members model fictional and non-fictional
aircraft, ships, figures and busts, dinosaurs and monsters, cars, trucks and
military and emergency vehicles and other subjects. In 1993, we became an IPMS chapter and
continue to meet regularly at the American Legion Home on 405
Northern Ave, Hagerstown, MD. We now average about thirty (30)
people per meeting with seasonal fluctuations.
We also take road trips to other contests, shows and places of interest
to modelers. We update these pages at
least monthly, often more frequently (Current
Newsletter, New/Reviews, Events and Model Gallery
particularly). Boys and girls, women
and men of all ages with similar modeling interests are encouraged to
attend. So, check back often and thanks
